Victoria Wells: Victoria Wells specializes in the assessment and behavioral rehabilitation of severely abused and neglected dogs. Seen regularly on Animal Planet's hit reality show Animal Precinct, Wells is a longtime training and behavior media spokesperson, which led to a three-year stint as the animal behavior expert for NY1's “New York Living” segment. Behind the scenes, Wells takes on the role of animal director/acting coach she also writes about animal behavior for various publications and serves as the behavioral advisor several magazines. Victoria has also organized and promoted several concerts one being the Gimme Shelter Rock and Rescue Benefit, featuring Beastie Boys and Debbie Harry. Victoria is also a musician herself. Andrea Purcigliotti: Is a production designer in the film and print industry. She designs TV shows, music videos, print editorials and live events for many of the major networks, ad agencies and production companies worldwide. She has been actively rescuing animals in NYC since 1990. Andrea and her fiancé, Tony Barber, have been collaborating on projects that marry music and design in order to raise funds(and awareness) to benefit shelter animals in NYC. Together, they are able to link the humane message to the celebrity “messenger” Typically, Andrea designs a benefit t shirt, and Tony, through his endless music industry connections, has the merchandise manufactured and sold at the merch counters of the large venue rock concerts. She has actively participated in the production of concerts, fund raising events, PSAs and print campaigns for the Mayors Alliance and Rational Animal since 2002. Tony Barber: producer and bassist for the Buzzcocks, (as well as Chelsea, The Creation, The Glen Matlock band, Go Kart Mozart, and a litany of others) has been in music his whole life. Heavily influenced by the politics and activism at the forefront of the punk movement in late Seventies London, Tony expects music to have a social responsibility. Furthermore, spending as much time on the road as he does, he comes with a plethora of resources from his years or work as a touring musician. Through Tony’s efforts alone, he was able to persuade management, and have a benefit T shirt, designed by his partner Andrea, sold at the NYC Pearl Jam/Buzzcocks show at MSG in July 2003. The over $14,000 raised on the sales of that one T shirt was used by Rational Animal to film the first PSAs for the Mayors Alliance in 2005.
